Biography |
A Ph.D in
Engineering and Economist Systems from Stanford University,
California, Dr. Jona Bargur has served in the Israeli Army
before joining Tahal Consulting Engineers Ltd. His
professional work has taken him to several countries of the
world including Botswana, Ethiopia, China, Nigeria etc.
Currently he is a member of the Parents’ Circle-Families
Forum-Bereaved Families Supporting Peace, Reconciliation and
Tolerance and an Israeli Board Member. Ever since he lost
his son in Israeli-Palestinian war he has been actively
working for peace and reconciliation between the two
nations. He is sorry to see that “Social conscience has
ceased” to consider life of man inferior to the sanctity of
land. He wants “a world of social justice peace and
tolerance instead of a world of death and graves.” |
