Benton Musslewhite
President, One World Now, USA
Benton Musslewhite received a Masters of Law degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., again graduating with honors; and obtained a degree in Military Law from the Judge Advocate General School at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
In 1992, Benton formed a Non-Governmental Organization called One World Now. The purpose of OWN is to comprehensively amend the Charter of the UN in order to democratize and empower the United Nations, so that it can effectively deal with the global crises facing us in the 21st century.
 
 
Prof. Dr. Minira Garayeya
Vice President, Azerbaijan Women’s Association, Azerbaijan
Prof.Dr.Minira Garayeva worked for many years as the Head of the English Phonetic and Phonology Department at the State University of Languages in Azerbaijan.She is a member of ICET, INGED and ECA (European Communication Association).
She has co-authored two textbooks based on phonetics and phonology and the author of the book “English Pronunciation”. She is cureently working in Azerbaijan Women Association as a vice-president for external relations.
 
 
Zemfira Verdiyeva
President, Azerbaijan Women’s Association, Azerbaijan
Zemfira Verdiyeva graduated in 1957 and was awarded a qualification “the teacher of English & French Languages in middle and high schools”. As an academician, she has authored monographs, books, dictionaries, papers, articles, theses, membering 189 altogether, 28 of them published abroad.
She also wrote 360 articles for newspapers and magazines, 31 of them – for foreign media. She was the character of 830 articles, altogether, 81 of them – have been published abroad, namely: in the United Sates of America, England, Turkey, Austria, Georgia, Israel, India, Jordan, Iran, Cyprus, Estonia, Russia etc. She is president of Azerbaijan Women Association.
 
 
Matej Sedmak
Peacehiker, Slovenia
Matej Sedmak is in Japan, he wishes to speak in schools, universities and other public institutions to present his travel and his aspirations. From Japan he will continue his way cross South Korea to North Korea, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel and cross the African desert and Italy he plan to return to his home country, Slovenia.
Every day and every new city is a wild adventure for him. With this travel he promotes peace between nations, among the people and in oneself. With his example he also shows young people how to live healthy life – without alcohol, drugs and negative emotions.
 
 
Marie Gervais
Doctoral Candidate, University of Alberta, Canada
Marie Gervais is a Doctoral Candidate in Secondary Education at the University of Alberta and the Education Coordinator for the Northern Alberta Alliance on Race Relations.
She has been a peace educator for more than 20 years and has several academic publications on peace themes. Through her work as a musican, theatre director and visual artist, she has used arts-based methodologies to bring peace messages to many audiences.
