Ela Gandhi
Gandhi Satyagraha Trust, South Africa
Ela Gandhi is the Grand-Daughter of Mahatma Gandhi and was nominated on the ANC list for two consecutive terms on the National assembly of the South African National Parliament and served the Phoenix Constituency.
She works closely with various International Organisations on peace issues and serves on the International Tibet support groups. She is presently involved in setting up a Centre for Nonviolence at the Durban Institute of Technology. She has also researched and gathered material on the birth of Satyagraha, Sarvodaya, Swedeshi and Swaraj the four key principles of the Gandhian philosophy.
 
 
Asha Sharmila Ramgobin
Representative, Human Rights Development Initiative, South Africa
Asha Sharmila Ramgobin worked in private practice as an advocate at the bar for 4 years. During the elections she worked as an IEC investigator for four months. On the day of the elections she was appointed as a special investigator into electoral fraud in northern KwaZulu Natal.
While on sabbatical in Sweden, she obtained a master’s degree International Human Rights Law. She is a committed practitioner of Mahayana Buddhism and engage in daily meditation practice. Her work with HRDI is firmly rooted within my value system and so what came easily and quickly before, now comes with a little more effort.

Tatiana Bolotina, is the Director of the Centre for Civic Education Moscow, the National Coordinator of Education for Democratic Citizenship in the Russian Federation, the Vice-President of the International Movement “Educators for Peace and Understanding”.
 
 
Yogacharya Dharmadas

Yogacharya Dharmadas moved to India in November 2003 with Swami Kriyananda, direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda (author of Autobiography of a Yogi), to help spread Yogananda’s teachings in India. Dharmadas has been practicing Kriya Yoga and serving with Ananda Sangha for the past 25 years, and is
authorized to give Kriya Yoga Initiation. He has taught extensively in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He is also a gifted musician, and has conducted large choirs in Europe and America. Dharmadas and his wife, Nirmala, live in Gurgaon with Swami Kriyananda.

Marina Shkrobova is a Ph.D (Pedagogical Sciences) and Associate Professor at the Chair of History, Social and Political Education and Law of the Russian Academy for Upgrading Professional Standards and Retraining of Educators.
She is a Specialist in civic education, author of manuals for students and methodical materials in civics, Manager of Educational Creativity Programs of the Youth Organization «New Civilization», Author and leader of the youth program«Creative manager» in Moscow‘s Theater School, Member of the jury of All Russian Competition «Teacher of the Year», Vice-president of the Interregional Public Organization «For civic education».
