Ms Svetlana
Ivouchkina is a lead engineer with Rocket Space Co-operation
Energia. She has designed space vehicles for exploration of
Venus, Mars, and Moon. She has also played a role in mission
control of Salut and MIR space stations. She is now the
deputy of the ‘Soyuz’ and ‘Progress’ planning group lead in
the international space station program. In recognition of
her good work in space exploration the government has
conferred many awards on her. She is a member of Council NPO
‘Conversion and Women’ . Her special interest is in earth
safety, globe management, religious dialogue, civic society
and human rights. |
