Biography |
After obtaining a
degree in anthropology and Law Ms Chapagain started her
career as an advocate. She has been a legal trainer, defense
lawyer and legal counselor. Besides working as advocate she
has been championing the cause of women’s emancipation in
Nepal. She has launched various programmes for improving the
lot of women in Nepal. To popularize the women’s
emancipation movement in Nepal. She has written many
articles to influence the common masses to safeguard the
rights of women. She has also been a media journalist. She
has worked in Nepal television focussing her attention
towards the rights of women. She has also held important
positions in the Nepalis Bar Association.
