Let us empower the International Court of Justice
for safe-guarding the future of world's 2 billion children and generations yet to be born". International Terrorism can be curbed only by International Law and not by War
— Jagdish Gandhi, Founder-Manager, CMS

LAW AND LAWLESSNESS
Today humanity is standing at the crossroads. One path leads to unity, peace and prosperity and the other leads to disunity, chaos and uncertainty.  After the end of the so-called 'Cold War', the United States tried to act as an international policeman and maintain law and order, but its actions lacked legitimacy and have often been criticised sometimes even by the traditional US allies.  However, since the 11th of September 2001, international terrorism has emerged as the biggest threat to civilized living and to the modern nation-states. In India, cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and attacks by suicide squads on Indian Parliament building and on several places of worship have taken a heavy toll of innocent lives during the last fifteen years.

INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM

International Terrorism is the result of international lawlessness, a grim scenario where people opt for violent destructive acts to draw attention to their grievances, real or imaginary, for which they feel the system does not offer any remedy. Even if it be true in any, or some, cases, it does not justify wanton killings, violence and terrorism. At the same time state-terrorism by way of attack on another country on false pretext and killing of innocent civilians can by no means be justified.

NEED OF THE HOUR
With the rapid developments in science, technology and communications, the world today has become a global village where people from all the countries have to perforce live in close cooperation for mutual progress, development and survival.  In this changed scenario, the old mindset has become redundant and a new mindset is needed for the new millennium.  The crying need of the new age is unity of humankind and peace in the world. There is thus an urgent need for a legally constituted law making body that is, a World Parliament, for enacting enforceable International Law that is applicable to all the countries and peoples of the world at the same time.  Only a legally constituted World Parliament can ensure unity of humankind and preserve world peace. Banning the teaching of hatred in schools and emphasising world unity,  world peace and co-existence of humankind is essential in present world scenario.

ENFORCEABLE INTERNATIONAL LAW ENACTED BY DULY CONSTITUTED WORLD PARLIAMENT IS URGENTLY REQUIRED
The mute question is whether the unification of humankind will happen after unimaginable horrors precipitated by humanity's stubborn clinging to the old patterns of behaviour, or is to be embraced now by an act of consultative will is the choice  achieve before all who inhibit the earth.  However, there can be little doubt that only enforceable international law enacted by a duly constituted World Parliament can ensure world peace, implement global steps to conserve the environment, check acts of terrorism through global Police System and eliminate all weapons of mass destruction, thus safeguarding the future of world's two billion children and the generations yet to be borne. However, an executive authority will be imperative to ensure and enforce obedience to such law.

LONG  TERM  VIEW  OF  EDUCATION
Having worked with children for nearly five decades, we took a long-term view of education. In a meaningful education model, only preparing children for the three “Rs” is not an adequate provision for a child's future in a global village and in a world fraught with dangers. Material education alone is not adequate. Children must be given human and divine education as well. Such a balanced education will serve the interests of children in the 21st century. They must be inspired to become proactive leaders of thought and to bring about profound social change. Children's consciousness must be widened to embrace the whole world.

SELF  APPOINTED  ADVOCATE  OF  CHILDREN
No one feels the pain of these young children, their anxious concern for their future and their enormous potential to make a difference. We believe that a school must inspire human greatness and bring out human nobility. It must educate children the concept of oneness of God, oneness of religion and oneness of mankind. Further more they should be taught the concept of world citizenship right from their earliest years. School must be the lighthouse of society and lead the way. CMS believes that children are the single most powerful common concern for all the nations of the world and their safety and security are the issues which no nation can ignore.

Therefore I my self and my school CMS decided to become a self appointed Advocate of  children of the world and took up the cause of two billion children of the world and the generations yet to be born for their right to have a safe and peaceful future.

A  SYMBOLIC  APPEAL  BY  CMS   STUDENTS
CMS children representing two billion children of the world will be presenting their appeal to the World Judiciary to safeguard their future and the future of generations yet to be born in the coming conference of Hon'ble Chief Justices of the World to be held in Lucknow.
